Maintain and Recommission
Unlike other systems, our UL Approved suppressant does not work by depleting oxygen levels, or releasing corrosive compounds, or ozone harmful chemicals.
The suppression agent has been shown to stay suspended in the air for up to one hour securing the compartment against possible re-ignition. Other systems that use a water-based suppression agent see their heavy particles quickly gravitate out the bottom of the engine compartments.
The system works in any position. Our system will operate in any position unlike some others that have to be mounted in a certain position to assure for proper performance.

MOST EFFICIENT BY WEIGHT
Once discharged the FireGator AFSS is more economical than all others to recommission. The simple process involves replacing the Linear Heat Detector wire that was compromised and installation of two (2) Stat-X® fire suppression generators that were activated.
Others require a large tank to trans fill or require the use of an expensive special high pressure pump.
These exclusive generators included in FireGator AFSS kits suppress by using “TOTAL COMPARTMENT FLOODING" which means no tubing or piping to aim nozzles at potential fire prone areas. Our devices are non-pressurized until activated They do not rely on maintaining high pressure vessels which require regular inspection and extensive DOT required testing.
When a thermal event occurs the patented compact generator is activated creating its own low-pressure nitrogen expellant gas and releases fine aerosol particulates (1 to 2 microns in size) which flood the entire engine compartment, chemically interrupt the combustion process, and extinguishes Class A (surface), Class B, and Class C fires.
There are no nozzles to clog, no aiming of nozzles directly at the fire source with tubing or fittings. our fire suppression devices are an all in one fire suppression solution.
Tested & Approved
The system has been tested, Listed, and approved by Military, Government and Independent Third-Party Approval agencies. It is used to protect some of the most valuable assets in the world such as the Space Shuttle Transport vehicles. US military vehicles in Afghanistan and Iraq and to protect remotely located Wind Turbines. This technology is certified by the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) and has passed the Navy Research Laboratory (NRL) stringent testing.
The system is US EPA SNAP listed for normally occupied and unoccupied spaces. The system is environmentally friendly featuring Zero Global Warming Potential (GWP). no Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and shorter Atmospheric Lifetimes. The Systems are UL 2775 Listed.
